Law I — Symmetric Evidentiary Standards
Apply the same burden of proof to all claims regardless of who makes them. A standard that exempts favoured actors is not a standard — it is a weapon.
Law II — Cross-Bias Sourcing
Require sources with competing institutional interests. Consensus among adversaries is signal. Consensus among allies is noise. If only one narrative pool confirms a claim, that is a data point about the claim — not confirmation of it.
Law III — Cui Bono
Follow the material interest. Who gains from this narrative? Who loses? Strip sentiment from the incentive structure and the picture clarifies.
Law IV — Shadow Reading
What is not said is data. Absence of source, evasion of question, and institutional silence are as legible as any statement. Read the shadow where sources fail.
